An Inspired Way to Teach Parliamentary Democracy
The Alberta Teachers Institute on Parliamentary Democracy brings together teachers to participate in an intensive professional development opportunity. The program provides participants with unique access to the Legislature, where they explore the traditions and roles of Alberta's parliament and enjoy an opportunity to network with fellow educators from across the province.
The 2023 program will take place at the Legislature from Sunday, November 5th to Tuesday, November 7th.
This opportunity is available to educators currently teaching within the field of education or public programming with a demonstrated interest in citizenship, history, parliamentary democracy or social studies.
