Parliamentary Secretary for Health Workforce Engagement
Chelsae Petrovic was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Livingstone-Macleod on May 29, 2023.
She is currently a member of the following legislative committees:
- Standing Committee on Private Bills
- Standing Committee on Families and Communities
Before joining the Legislative Assembly, Mrs. Petrovic worked with Alberta Health Services and Aakom-Kiyii Health Services as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). She was also the mayor of Claresholm, Alberta, from 2021 to 2023.
Mrs. Petrovic also volunteered as the community director for MyCityCare Claresholm.
She was the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal and was named Citizen of the Year by her Claresholm peers in 2020.
Mrs. Petrovic was born in Toronto, Ontario, and graduated from Lethbridge College with a diploma of licensed practical nursing. She is married with two children.
She was the 979th Member to be sworn into the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
