Mandate

The Select Special Conflicts of Interest Act Review Committee was a committee of the Legislative Assembly appointed on December 5, 2023, with the passage of Government Motion 10, to review the Conflicts of Interest Act as provided in section 48 of that Act. The Committee held its final meeting on December 11, 2024, and its Final Report was intersessionally deposited with the Legislative Assembly on January 14, 2025 (Sessional Deposit 778/2023-25), concluding the Committee’s mandate.

When a select special committee releases its report, its work is complete and the committee is disbanded unless otherwise directed by the Assembly.
