Public Service Orientation

An insider's perspective on the Legislative Assembly.

The Legislative Assembly of Alberta’s Public Service Orientation offers an important foundational understanding of the functions of the Legislative Assembly. This full-day, in-person program explores legislative, budgetary and committee processes, enabling each participant to effectively apply this knowledge to their role in the public service.

PUBLIC ORIENTATION PROGRAMS WILL RUN THE FIRST MONDAY OF THE MONTH FROM OCTOBER TO DECEMBER 2024 AND FEBRUARY TO JUNE 2025. SPACES ARE LIMITED SO PLEASE REGISTER EARLY BASED ON THE REGISTRATION OPENING DATES.

The program sessions will move between the Legislature building and Queen Elizabeth II building, so comfortable footwear is recommended.  Please contact visitorinfo@assembly.ab.ca or 780.427.7362 with any mobility related questions.
