ORDER PAPERS

The Order Paper is an Assembly document prepared for each sitting day that lists the items of business that may be considered by the Assembly.

Overview

There are two main sections to the Order Paper. The first is Orders of the Day, which lists the items of government and private Members’ business, such as motions and Bills, which the Assembly may consider. The second is a notice section at the end of the document that notifies Members and others about the items of business that may be considered during a future sitting of the Assembly, once the one-day notice period has elapsed.

The Order Papers database allows users to view the Order Paper for past sitting days. It is searchable and includes the Orders of the Day for each sitting day.
